If you are in San Diego and are into tapas, you MUST try this place. It is incredible delicious. Sangria is tasty, refreshing and served in a cute pitcher. The mixed paella was on point as well as the rabbit. If you are able, try the salmon too. And make sure to ask for Alejandra "Alex", she is so friendly and attentive. She will make sure you get all you need for a one of a kind experience.
We really enjoyed our lunch at Costa Brava in Pacific Beach! Beautiful and refreshing design. Great authentic Spanish cuisine. We ordered the pulpo a la gallega for an appetizer and split the paella de mariscos for the entree. Everything tasted amazing. Great wine selection. We sat on the dog friendly patio. The service was friendly, accommodating, and quick. Recommend!
Took my mom here a few weeks ago and we loved it. A lot of the food is small plates so we got to try a lot of stuff while we were there which was fun because we had never had Spanish food before. The bacon wrapped dates and flan are a must have for us when we go back though!
This restaurant has expanded a lot since the last time I've been here years prior. We were seated in the back patio where there was live music and heaters on. Dinner was a bit pricey because you're not getting much food since it's about $9-15 per tapas. We ordered a variety of cold and hot tapas. I think that their food is hit or miss. We like the croquetas, bacon wrapped dates, and mushrooms dishes. The $20 oxtail was fatty and the octopus was disappointingly chewy. The calamari was limp. The red sangria was pretty good and we ordered a pitcher of it. The creme brulee dessert was delicious. Service was good. Our waiter did a great job with our group and made suggestions on the orders.
So many tapas, so delicious. The service was great - quick and attentive, water glass was never empty. We enjoyed our dinner of appetizers!
I came with my family of four for lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered a paella, filet mignon, and the porterhouse steak—all of which tasted great. We ordered several appetizers but each portion fit perfectly, each coming in small rounded plates. Overall I would definitely come visit again.
We didn’t order the paella but the tapas are so good! The server is also very friendly! My personal favorites are the octopus, lamb skewer and mushrooms !
